Testosterone enanthate
Testosterone is a naturally occurring sex hormone that is producedin a man's testicles. Small amounts of testosterone are also producedin a woman's ovaries and adrenal system.
Testosterone injection is used in men and boys to treat conditionscaused by a lack of this hormone, such as delayed puberty, impotence,or other hormonal imbalances. Testosterone injection is also used inwomen to treat breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.
Testosterone Enanthate injection, USP provides Testosterone Enanthate,a derivative of the primary endogenous androgen testosterone, forintramuscular administration. In their active form, androgens have a17-beta-hydroxy group. Esterification of the 17-beta-hydroxy groupincreases the duration of action of testosterone; hydrolysis to freetestosterone occurs in vivo. Each mL of sterile, colorless to paleyellow solution provides 200 mg Testosterone Enanthate in sesame oilwith 5 mg chlorobutanol (chloral derivative) as a preservative.
